John McCants has been investing in residential real estate since 1990 in Seattle and several markets throughout the state of Washington. John has been a licensed real estate broker since 1992. Working with an experienced group of contractors, he has developed a team approach towards buying, rehabbing, flipping and maintaining a solid portfolio of investment real estate with positive cash flow.
John has specialized in acquiring most of his real estate in the competitive foreclosure marketplace buying wholesale what most people would say is impossible. Whether the property is a “fixer” or in “move-in” condition, they have developed a proven method to evaluate and assess the property in order to acquire it and turn it profitably. John’s favorite source of investment purchases come through Trustee Sales (Bank Auctions) in King and Snohomish County.
John has also been a trainer since 1994 with Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad, and for John Burley’s Advanced Real Estate Boot Camps and financial trainings throughout the United States. John also joined together with national and regional real estate investors at the Renatus Real Estate Investment College to further his career and mentor others as they get in the real estate game to attain their financial dreams and goals.
John’s financial goal was to retire at the age of 50 and start his retirement with a vacation in Fiji and travel the world. John met his financial goals and changed plans after seeing the financial crisis develop in the USA and around the world. John put retirement on hold and committed to increasing their investment portfolio due to the real estate recession and economic crisis going on today (a perfect storm for investors!!!!).
In addition to being an educator for Renatus John and his wife Pam manage a large community of IMAs in several markets including his native Phoenix, multiple markets in Washington State and San Diego.
